Cookie Policy
Effective 1 February 2026
Your current choice: Not yet set
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your browser between page loads and remember information about your session. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage, and pixel tags — are treated the same way under this policy.
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary · always on
Required for sign-in, session management, scoring, and core platform functionality. Includes our session token cookie and Terms acceptance state. These cannot be turned off because the platform doesn't work without them.
Functional · optional
Remembers preferences such as your active workspace, display mode, and dismissed in-product hints. Improves continuity across sessions but is not required for the platform to function. Disabled by default.
Analytics · optional
Helps us understand which screens, scoring categories, and flows users find useful. We use PostHog (privacy-friendly, EU-hostable, no advertising integrations). Data is aggregated, never sold, and never used to build advertising profiles. Disabled by default until you opt in.
Marketing · optional
Used to measure the effectiveness of institutional outreach and partner referrals (e.g. attribution from accelerators, VCs, and registered partners). Disabled by default. Never used for retargeting or third-party advertising.
3. Before you give consent
We do not load analytics scripts before you respond to the cookie banner. Until then, only strictly necessary cookies are set. If you choose Reject Non-Essential or close the banner without accepting, no analytics scripts are loaded for the duration of your visit.
4. Managing your preferences
You can edit your choice at any time using the link in the footer of every page, or by clicking Manage above. You can also clear cookies through your browser's privacy settings — doing so will reset your consent state and re-trigger the banner on your next visit.
5. Legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies are set under the contractual-necessity and legitimate-interest bases of UK GDPR. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent under PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003) and UK GDPR.
