How does scoring work?

Every assessment runs through a fixed 13-category readiness model with explicit weighting and a deterministic rationale policy. Identical inputs always produce identical scores — no LLM ranking, no randomness, no drift between runs.

What evidence is used?

Each category is anchored to a catalog of evidence requirements with REQUIRED, HIGH_IMPACT, and MEDIUM_IMPACT tiers. Submitted evidence is validated and persisted as an EvidenceItem record; the scoring engine reads these records to compute the readiness band.

Who can trigger a rescore?

Rescores are gated by role and audit-logged. Founders trigger their own; advisors and accelerators may trigger when authorised; investors never write scoring data.

How are audit trails generated?

Every score-affecting action — submission, validation, rescore, override — writes an audit-log entry capturing actor, role, entity, before/after, and ISO timestamp. Audit logs are immutable and surfaced to the company owner.
